Academy Of Baseball Excellence

The Academy of Baseball Excellence prepares young Australian baseball players for entry into the US college system. Through skill development training sessions and academic support, the Academy helps players achieve their optimum performance capabilities, irrespective of their ultimate baseball (or life) destination.

The Academy’s combined athletic and academic approach provides participants with opportunities to improve their skills, both in the classroom and on the field; helping to increase their chances of securing placement into an appropriate college. Importantly, the Academy will also provide a realistic insight into what it takes to be recruited by a college and what to expect should a player be accepted by a college.

Led by respected coach and mentor, Peter Giles, the Academy is based at Boeing Reserve in Strathmore Heights, Victoria – one of the best baseball facilities in Australia.
