Personal Statement
My life is Baseball . I have been obsessed with Baseball since my first swing of my bat. From early childhood, I had been a top junior- ranked, left-handed tennis - player, yet I was longing to be a part of a team. Baseball has become that, and much more, for me. With great coaches and family support, I have always strived to be the best at what I do and the best athlete that I can possible be - whether it's on a baseball diamond, tennis court or playing a board- game. I've never found satisfaction in being ordinary. I am committed to being extraordinary and achieving excellence in pursuit of my dreams.
In 2018, I represented Australia in the Australian U15's Team in the 2018 World Cup in Panama. At National level, I have represented Victoria (my State) every year achieving Most Valuable Player Award in 2019 at the National Championships , followed by the further winning of the Golden Bat Award this year (2020) also at the Australian Youth National Championships. I was also honoured by School Sports Victoria, an Excellence in Sport Achievement Award in 2018 along with several School Sports awards and scholarships along the way. In 2019, I toured the west coast of the USA with World Baseball Showcases for 6 weeks with Steve Fish and have plans to return - as soon as I can. I am also working towards being a part of the World Cup U18's squad in 2021.
I have been told by my various coaches that I'm a true athlete and a fierce competitor. As an athlete I will always find a way to compete the hardest and to the best of my abilities. My athleticism is what I value the most and I'm always looking to extend myself beyond my current capabilities. As well as being a pure athlete, I also compete in Track & Field for my school, holding the current School Record for the 100m (10.92 secs) and 200m sprint - along with many other school track & field achievements throughout the years. This includes competing in track & field for my school including State level.
I am focussed, determined, committed and have a great sense of humour, which I bring to the various teams I'm in, and to my team- mates. What I also bring to a team is great energy, good humour, exciting competitiveness and most importantly, being a loyal and supportive teammate! I love to add humour and I play with excitement both on and off the baseball field, appreciating that what happens off the diamond is as important as what happens on it! Being a part of a team and a 'family' is where I love to be and where I belong, and is what is what I'm always looking for.
In the classroom I challenge myself constantly to become a better student and to always try and improve. My current GPA is 3.59 and I am working hard on improving every day. I enjoy the school / college environment and being around others who challenge me to push myself and inspire me to achieve my best. I continually work hard in the classroom and look for ways to better myself.
My immediate goal includes becoming a part of a top baseball program in America, establishing myself as a valued teammate and having an impact within the team, whether in the outfield, pitching (lefty) or in the dugout. I'm looking continually to better myself as a player both on and off the field and I am daily, constantly working in the gym, on the diamond, in the cages and on the track to improve my skills and 'tools'. I hope to inspire those around me to improve alongside me and to become part of a family.
I am dedicated and will find ways to compete for you, as well as find ways to infect each and every one of my teammates with the same focus and excitement that I play with. In short, I believe that I would be a valued addition to any team and would represent any future college with pride and excellence.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Hopefully hear from you soon!
Playing Style
I play a high tempo, energetic style of play that people enjoy watching. I’m an athlete first and foremost and will always look to use my athletic ability to put my tem in the best position to win whether its laying out for fly ball in the outfield or laying down a bunt in the ninth inning. I hit to the ally’s and look to use my speed around the bases. I always look for opportunities to score a run or advance a runner and I’m always trying to put my team in the best position to win.

About Me
I am a hard worker and dedicated to improving myself in the classroom and on the baseball field. I love to have a good time with friends and joke around. I’m looking for a program that is going to be a second family for me and help me improve as a person and player.
