Personal Statement
In 2020 I was accepted into a world exchange program in which I travelled to the US for ten months and fell in love with the American student-athlete idea. I am extremely grateful for my experience and time there, in which I created lifelong connections with my host family and town. The plan was to have a full summer of baseball, but unfortunately, COVID-19 crashed that idea. For academics, I have a huge passion for the sciences; taking physics and chemistry to help strengthen my knowledge and background for a direct entry into STEM degrees in college. I concluded senior school in Cass City, Michigan at 15 years old with a GPA of 3.55-3.65, and have been incredibly eager for a chance to study there again. Once I returned to Australia, I played summer ball at Essendon Baseball club in juniors and seniors, and afterwards was blessed with the opportunity to train with the Academy of Baseball Excellence. While training with the Academy of Baseball Excellence, I also be played a winter season at the University of Melbourne, which I am planning to continue with for the next winters to come. In 2022 I will be shifting to a large specialist School to further pursue my educational goals. Despite starting baseball at 14 years of age, older than most players, I quickly realised my passion and admiration for the sport. Over the months, I have enjoyed seeing my skills improve and my strength increase after hours of training. Balancing my time between baseball and my education has also been beneficial, as it has taught me to create healthy, productive study habits, which yielded results in my academics as shown.

About Me
Apart from my appreciation for baseball and academics, I also have a love for music. I’m a self taught guitarist of two years, and have played drums since I was 12. I’ve always worked part time, from working at two family owned businesses in the states, which I learnt self sufficiency from.
